This baby female deer's mother fawn was forced to leave with her twin when she wasn't able to keep up. A kind man named Darius rescued the animal. He cared for her in his home and used an oatmeal box to fashion a splint for her injured leg. When the time came to release the rescued back to its mother she wouldn't leave his side. Luckily the pack of deer came to his home and the rescued baby deer returned to her family. Darius joined the RightThisMinute hosts for an interview via Skype to talk about the animal's rescue. Two cyclists riding by a canal happened to see a baby deer in the water. The sides of the wall being too steep for the the deer to climb up, firefighters had to be called in. After an hour of trying, the deer was finally saved by rescue crews and released to the wild. View Now
