Researchers at Raine Island, the world’s largest green sea turtle nesting area, have found an innovative, non-invasive way to record the species. As part of the Raine Island Recovery Project, they're using drone footage to count the population frame by frame. They've estimated there to be 64,000 green sea turtles in this footage alone, and it makes for one truly incredible sight.
