The Dallas Street Dog Advocates wanted to rescue a dog they nicknamed Susie for months, but she didn't know how to be around people and would always run when someone approached. When the rescue group realized she had a litter of puppies, they knew they had to help them, along with another stray dog family (Susie's mother Chansey and her new babies!). Rescuers were able to grab 11 puppies and Chansey from where they were hiding in a storm drain, and Susie was finally captured the next day. View Now

At least 10 people have been shot in front of the Empire State Building, according to the New York Office of Emergency Management. Law enforcement officials say police shot and killed the gunman and at least a second person was killed. Officers responded to reports of gunfire around nine this morning. Authorities have closed several streets around the iconic landmark at 34th Street and 5th Avenue.
