Over a year and a half ago, the owner of three dogs passed away. The man had made no prior arrangements for the care of his pets in the event of his passing. The deceased man's family cleaned out his house and schockingly kicked the dogs out onto the street. For the last 18 months the dogs have been roaming aimlessly in the neighborhood.

Rescuers in Durbin, South Africa worked for over three hours to rescue a newborn baby that had somehow become trapped in a storm drain. Passersby heard a strange noise coming from the drain pipe and initially thought it was a kitten. The infant was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for hypothermia.
