For half of his life, 4-year-old orangutan Kotap has spent his days secluded inside of a wooden crate. The man responsible for this claims the animal was a gift, but when he took the monkey home he felt it would disturb the neighbors. His solution was to keep Kotap in a box, hidden away from all the goodness of nature. Koa is a sweet potbelly pig from Lancaster, Ohio, but he was badly abused. When PETA first found Koa, he had severe wounds and was once likely beaten with a crowbar. Koa was immediately taken to Ohio Sate University Veterinary Hospital for emergency surgery.
Luckily, Koa made it out of the surgery and was adopted by a great family in Medina, Ohio. The family took him in like you would any adoptable house pet. Koa spends his days cuddling with his new siblings, thanks to PETA saving him. View Now
